Craig began his career in Family Law in 2019 as a Professional McKenzie Friend and a Freelance Paralegal. Since then, he has assisted more than 500 clients with their Family Court proceedings. He has since been granted Rights of Audience in numerous Finding of Fact Hearings as well as in the Royal Court of Justice on matters pertaining to International Child Abduction. Craig is instructed frequently to assist Litigants within High Court proceedings and he will frequently appear before High Court Judges in the Royal Courts of Justice on matters relating to international relocation and contact.

Craig regularly appears as a Lay Advocate before the CMS Tribunals, handling claims under the Child Support Act 1991. He is frequently instructed by clients in matters pertaining to Regulation 50 arguments as well as advising on mitigating claims against Litigants of undisclosed income. He is robust in his advice and has an excellent understanding of this niche area of Child Maintenance advocacy within the CMS Tribunals.
Child Arrangement Orders
Craig has a strong family practice in assisting clients in Children Act matters and frequently supports Litigants in Person in private children cases involving relocation cases, safeguarding issues, including allegations of physical, emotional, financial and sexual abuse. He assists both Mothers and Fathers as well as grandparents. Most of his cases include elements of domestic abuse perpetrated upon parents and children. He regularly supports Litigants in Finding of Fact and Final Hearings in matters involving complex legal and factual issues. Craig also attends first hearings and directions hearings in order to assist in the management of his client’s cases so that he can assisting in ascertaining the right case management orders for his client’s at the outset. This is essential for proper case planning.
Craig has a strong practise as a Conciliator assisting parties with legal opinions and dispute resolutions strategies in finalising matters within a confidential mediated environment as a Conciliator. He has expert knowledge in various areas of conciliation including Civil, Corporate, Family and Workplace disputes. Craig as a trained Mediator deals with various disputes and due to his legal background, Craig can give a realist opinion on how to resolve matters.
Divorce, Financial Remedy &Trust of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 (TOLATA)
Craig specialises in engaging in all areas of divorce and financial remedy applications and assists both applicants and respondents in First Dispute Appointment (FDA Hearing), Financial Dispute Resolution (FDR Hearing) and Final Hearings. He has dealt with a range of financial remedy cases involving high-value assets, complex business structures, family trusts, and assets outside of the jurisdiction and frequently deals with cases involving multiple parties and interveners and cases involving complex issues of conduct. In addition to financial remedies cases, Craig regularly undertakes cases relating to non-matrimonial finances such as TOLATA applications, cohabitation cases, civil-partnership issues, and Schedule-1 claims.
Craig deals with a wide and varied range of cases and has 5 years of experience in assisting clients in resolving disputes. Craig is a CMC Registered Mediator in Civil & Commercial Mediation and a strong believer of anyone and mediate and believes most cases can be resolved through mediation. Craig’s ethos is helping parties in dispute to stop focusing on conflict and looking back and to start focusing on looking forward. He has a keen interest in representing his clients within Mediations and has represented numerous clients in Commercial Mediation disputes remotely. Craig is passionate about dispute resolution and believes that cases can be solved with open conversations.
Non-Molestation & Occupation order
Craig also regularly assists in Family Law Act applications such as non-molestation orders and occupation order, including directions hearings and contested final hearings, on behalf of both applicants and respondents. He prepares urgent applications such as injunctions/protective orders for clients and then presents them on an urgent basis to the Court ensuring that the best possible case has been presented for her client. Equally, Craig assists respondents at urgent return hearings to ensure that her client’s do not have unnecessary orders placed against them.
Craig has a vast experience in Civil matters as a County Court Advocate and Paralegal in the Small Claims Court dealing with matters such as Money and Debt, Landlord and Tenant, Housing Disrepair, and Breach of Contract. He is frequently instructed as both a County Court Advocate and Lay Advocate with respect to Small Claims across England and Wales.
Craig is a knowledgeable legal consultant, and his written submissions and case research are often referred to as forceful and persuasive. He gives realistic and practical advice from the outset but it not afraid to face a challenge. He has extensive experience of proceedings at all levels up to the High Court.
